Microsoft Studios announced today that Halo Wars: Definitive Edition will get a Steam release on April 20th. The real time strategy game has been available on the Windows 10 Store as a Halo Wars 2: Ultimate Edition bonus since December 2016, but this new Steam version will not feature crossplay with last year’s release.
A 343 Industries representative confirmed that Halo Wars: Definitive Edition will cost US$ 19.99 on Steam.
