NieR:Automata Getting Colosseum DLC Soon

Square Enix announced today that PlatinumGames‘ acclaimed NieR:Automata will soon receive a DLC pack adding new combat arenas, costumes and sub quests. Gamers will be able to fight their way through three different colosseums (with boss fights that include characters based on both Square Enix’s president and CEO Yosuke Matsuda, and PlatinumGames‘ president and CEO Kenichi Sato). Completing these three colosseums will grant players a number of rewards, including costumes from the original NieR, special music tracks that can be played in the ingame jukebox, new cosmetic accessories and special bullets that can change the appearance of enemy bullets.

According to SteamSpy, an unofficial (but usually reliable) source of Steam sale numbers, NieR:Automata‘s PC version has been enjoyed by at least 242,000 people. Hopefully this DLC release will push those numbers to even greater heights.
