Shiro Games revealed this week that their cooperative zombie slaying roguelite Darksburg will graduate from Early Access on September 23rd.
Launched at the beginning of the year as a co-op focused action title, Darksburg initially garnered a mixed reception, until the developers decided to shake things up quite a bit with their “Going Rogue” June update, which turned the game into a roguelite (and has been fairly well received by the community so far).
Thanks to our community, Darksburg has evolved a great deal since arriving in Early Access this February. Their feedback helped us refine Darksburg into a special experience and we can’t wait to welcome new players into the fold when the game graduates from Early Access on Sept. 23.Adrien Briatta, Head of Marketing and Publishing, Shiro Games.
Although the original Early Access FAQ stated that the game would get a price increase once it hit 1.0, Darksburg will remain priced at US$19.99 (or your regional equivalent).
