Death Stranding Will Support DLSS 2.0 at Launch

Kojima Productions’ Death Stranding will support DLSS 2.0 out of the box, according to NVIDIA.

This news should make many gamers around the globe quite happy, since DLSS 2.0 can give a pretty important performance boost to machines equipped with RTX 2xxx graphics cards, without sacrificing image quality in the process. I’ve personally tested the tech on my 1080p machine (equipped with a 2060 Super and a Ryzen 5 3600), and enabling DLSS 2.0 let me play Control with RTX effects on without suffering the drastic frame rate drops I saw with it off. Considering Death Stranding is not an RTX title, having DLSS 2.0 will let players run the game at way higher resolutions than they would normally be able to, which will further improve this already stunning game’s image quality.

DEATH STRANDING already has the reputation of being a visual stunner, but NVIDIA DLSS 2.0 helps make the PC debut something special. The extra performance NVIDIA DLSS 2.0 delivers in DEATH STRANDING allows gamers to unlock the vast graphical potential of the PC platform by increasing the graphics settings and resolution, delivering on the vision we have for the game.
