Deus Ex: Mankind Divided launch trailer released

Square Enix‘s highly anticipated Deus Ex: Mankind Divided will be out next week, August 23, so the company has released a launch trailer to celebrate the culmination of years of work.

Developed by Eidos Montreal, and ported to PC by Nixxes Software, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is a direct sequel to 2011’s Human Revolution, and it features the same protagonist, Adam Jensen, as he returns to the fold with new tech and augmentations. Players will be able to enjoy different playstyles, and a gripping story will take them to different parts of a futuristic world crafted by Eidos Montreal.

In 2029, after the Aug incident that resulted in the deaths of millions, mankind stands divided. The oppression of the mechanically augmented has created a climate of fear and resentment, resulting in an escalation of crime and acts of terror. Amid all the chaos, Adam Jensen goes after the Illuminati, the men and women responsible for tearing the world apart. Armed with a new arsenal of state-of-the-art weapons and augmentations, he must choose the right approach, along with who to trust, in order to unravel a vast worldwide conspiracy.
