Flying Wild Hog Unveils Shadow Warrior 3, Out in 2021

Devolver Digital revealed today that Flying Wild Hog is working on Shadow Warrior 3, due for release sometime in 2021.

Players will once again take control of anti-hero Lo Wang, as he tries to fix some of the mistakes of his past, which have finally caught up to him. According to the Steam store page description, cooperative gameplay won’t be a part of this new title, and there’s no mention of the loot system that was used in Shadow Warrior 2.

Fans eager to see gameplay footage will be happy to learn that there’s a new trailer dropping during the Devolver Digital Direct event that will take place on July 11 at 12:00PM Pacific via Twitch.

Fallen corporate shogun Lo Wang and his former employer turned nemesis turned sidekick Orochi Zilla embark on an improbable mission to recapture an ancient dragon they unwillingly unleashed from its eternal prison. Armed with a punishing mix of blades and bullets, Lo Wang must traverse uncharted parts of the world to track down the dark beast and push the apocalypse back yet again. All it will take is the mask of a dead god, a dragon’s egg, a touch of magic, and enough firepower to hold off the impending cataclysm.
