PlayStation Now coming to PC soon

Update: Sony has officially announced PlayStation Now for PC

The console manufacturer said that the streaming service will come to Europe first, and it will be released in North America shortly after that.

Here are the recommended specs for running PS Now on your PC:

  • Windows 7 (SP1), 8.1 or 10
  • 3.5 GHz Intel Core i3 or 3.8 GHz AMD A10 or faster
  • 300 MB or more; 2 GB or more of RAM
  • Sound card; USB port

A minimum 5Mbps connection is required to use PS Now on any device. We recommend a wired Internet connection for the optimal experience.
We’ll be in touch to confirm the exact launch date of the PlayStation Now Windows PC app in North America, and stay tuned for some exciting games that will be added to the library.

According to renowned Twitter expert Wario64, Sony‘s videogame streaming service will soon make the jump to PC.

Inspecting the website code in a PlayStation Blog announcement shows that an official announcement is coming soon.

This news isn’t official, of course, but at this point it’s almost the same thing, and we are just waiting for a release date.

PC gamers interested in trying out Sony‘s streaming service should take into account that the platform requires a 5mbps connection, and that it’s not available worldwide so far.

Thanks Wario64!

    • Haha, too bad it won’t work in a lot of countries 🙁
My connection should handle it for instance, but it’s not supported here.
