RAID: World War II Closed Beta Now Available for Payday 2 Owners

RAID: World War II preorders are now live, and developers Lion game Lion have also started a closed beta test available to all Payday 2 PC players. Gamers interested in taking part of this test should search for the “RAID: World War II Beta” entry in their Steam library.

The closed beta test will last until September 17th, less than ten days before the full game is out.




RAID: World War II preorders come in two different packages, detailed below:

  • RAID: World War II Standard Edition at $39.99, including:
    • Pre-order exclusive: An Army Crate containing special goodies
  • RAID: World War II Special Edition at $64.99 which includes the Standard Edition plus:
    • Pre-order exclusive: An Army Crate containing special goodies
    • A special version of the in-game car Apple Red Kübelwagen
    • RAID: World War II Base game
    • A RAID: World War II comic book available in-game and as a PDF
    • A decorative bomb for the camp
    • Original soundtrack and the melee weapon “Marching Mace”
    • A special melee weapon “The Admiral’s Dagger”
    • Four exclusive special edition jackets for the characters
    • RAID: World War II Digital Art Book
    • Four exclusive RAID: World War II wallpapers.
    • The Golden Lion Game Lion Logo
    • PAYDAY 2: Ultimate Edition, $45 worth of heisting madness
      (If you have PAYDAY 2, it will be upgraded to PAYDAY 2 Ultimate Edition).

A 10% discount will be applied should we choose to preorder, and existing Payday 2 owners will receive an additional 5% off on the Standard Edition, or a 15% off on the Special Edition. Those loyalty discounts will stack with the base 10% off, so Payday 2 players can get the Standard Edition for 15% off, or the Special Edition for 25% off the normal price.
