Tennis games aren’t exactly dime a dozen, so news on a new title focused on the popular racket sport are always welcome. Bigben Interactive announced this week that Breakpoint‘s Tennis World Tour will be released on May 22nd for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
More than thirty professional athletes will be featured in the game, which was created by a dedicated team of developers (some of which worked on the Top Spin series before jumping ship to Tennis World Tour). Realism is at the forefront here, and as usual, positioning and shot power matter as much in the virtual world as they do in real life. Of course, the life of a tennis pro doesn’t just involve the court, so we’ll have to train our customized characters, choose sponsorship deals, and improve their stats as they accumulate experience and resources
