Tribute Games reveals Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge

Tribute Games announced today that they are working on a new side scrolling beat ’em up title set in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles universe and published by Dotemu.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge features gorgeous pixel art characters inspired by the classic 1987 design of the iconic crime fighting turtles. Players will be able to kick crime in the butt as Leonardo, Raphael, Michelangelo and Donatello, either in single player or in co-op (up to four players at the same time). We don’t yet have a release date (only a vague “coming soon”) but we got a beautiful reveal trailer for your viewing pleasure.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge features groundbreaking gameplay rooted in timeless classic brawling mechanics, brought to you by the beat ’em up experts at Dotemu (Streets of Rage 4) and Tribute Games. From Manhattan and Coney Island, to city rooftops and dank sewers, help the fearsome foursome trounce Foot Soldiers, Triceraton Warriors, and Rock Troops all the way to Dimension X!
