Facebook’s Oculus Quest is getting a follow-up, which features improved resolution, processor, RAM and refresh rate, for US$100 less than its predecessor. The new device will retail for US$299 for its 64GB version and US$399 for the 256GB edition, and it will start shipping on October 13th.
The only caveat is that you’ll have to login with a Facebook account (though all Facebook Oculus devices are getting that mandatory login come 2023 anyway).
Just like the original Oculus Quest, you can use a Link cable to turn this standalone headset into a fully featured PCVR headset.
