Diablo Immortal is coming to PC, with an Open Beta scheduled for release on June 2nd, 2022. The game was originally announced as a mobile take on the long-lasting PC-centric action RPG franchise, and its announcement prompted fan outcry and birthed the now infamous “Don’t you guys have phones?” line that quickly turned into a meme about Blizzard seemingly having lost touch with their community.
Fast forward four years, and Diablo Immortal is coming to PC at the same time as it launches on mobile platforms, so I’d say that the community was actually pretty spot on this time around, and Blizzard seems to have realized that. Hopefully this is a sign that things are changing over at Activision-Blizzard.
