Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin Hits PC in March 2022

Square Enix recently revealed that Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin (also known as Final Fantasy CHAOS) will hit PC and consoles on March 18, 2022.

PlayStation 5/Xbox Series S/X players can enjoy a time limited demo, but sadly it seems that Square Enix has once again forsaken PC users (by the way, the game is an EGS exclusive, because of course it was going to be one). I’ve watched some gameplay and the action seems as excellent as one would expect from Team Ninja, so even though the whole CHAOS thing might be extra wacky, you can rest assured that gameplay-wise, this team can and will deliver. There’s also enough Final Fantasy stuff neatly packed into the game to fill one or two mainline titles, so this isn’t a quick Nioh reskin, as far as I can see.

Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy origins is a new action RPG by Square Enix Ltd. in collaboration with Team NINJA from KOEI TECMO GAMES, that brings a bold, new vision to the FINAL FANTASY® series. Jack and his allies, Ash and Jed, burn with the resolve to defeat Chaos as they throw open the gates to the Chaos Shrine. Yet doubts remain – are they truly the Warriors of Light the prophecy foretold? Step into a world of dark fantasy and revel in the exhilarating action – packed battles.
