Ubisoft announced today that Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Wildlands will get a free weekend from October 12th-15th in order to celebrate the launch of the free Ghost War PVP update. Gamers willing to give the title a go will be able to preload the free weekend content starting today (on Uplay) and should they enjoy their time with Wildlands, they may wish to take advantage of a 50% off discount that will run for the duration of the weekend.

The publisher also noted that progress made during this trial period will carry over to the full game.
